When I'm not working with new babies or NICU warriors, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, snuggled up on the couch with my cavapoo, a crochet hook, and lots of yarn. As a self-taught crocheter, I've experienced the frustration of deciphering complex patterns, which led me to create "But First, Crochet," a space dedicated to making crochet simple and accessible for all. As a mom of preemies, I have a special connection to the NICU and have crafted over 500 crocheted octopuses for preemies and many more preemie patterns on the hook.
